Native Plant Nursery.

Jug Handle’s native plant nursery grows local indigenous trees, shrubs and perennials for public restoration projects, commercial plantings, mitigation projects and home gardens. We take special orders for onsite, collected, and custom grown native plants for gardens, restoration, mitigation and re-vegetation projects. Please contact Alison Gardner at garaway58@gmail.com or (707) 341-7304.

  • Jug Handle offers the only Nursery in our area featuring local plants.

  • We offer wild collected native plant seed, wetland and divisions for local restoration.

  • We showcase forest, coastal plain, wetland and endangered species.

  • Local native plants for landscaping, mitigation and restoration projects.

Many of our plants have been grown with the assistance of visiting students, who learn to mix potting soil, plant seeds and pot up plants. Students may also learn tree planting, invasive plant weeding and trail maintenance.

Plant Sales: Jug Handle holds two yearly plant sales, one in the fall, and one in spring, open to the public. This is an opportunity to buy local plants that may not be available elsewhere. Check the Jug Handle website for details on upcoming plant sales. Contact Alison Gardner at garaway58@gmail.com or (707) 341-7304.
